Modern living calls for more power outlets than ever before, placing a strain on the electrical supply in your home. With the theme of safety uppermost in mind, JoJo have introduced an entire range of products.
Trailing leads are available from a single socket up to an 8-socket lead and also come with useful features such as neon power indicators, individual switches and safety cut-out switches. JoJo also offer surge and spike protection on many of their trailing leads - invaluable protection against the normal variations in voltage supply which can damage sensitive equipment such as computers, hi-fi's and TV's.
The JoJo cable reel range includes a reel for every application, cassette type reels for around the home, the larger semi-enclosed reels which keep the cable tidy and the more traditional open reels. In order to protect the consumer, JoJo are offering the safety cut-out on all sizes of cable reel. In the event of an overload, the cut-out will trip and terminate power to the connected appliances.
JoJo also offer a range of outdoor cable connectors, re-wireable black or orange connectors, 13 amp plug to 2 pin connectors for electrical garden tools and the Rugby Ball protector - A protective cover to protect both plug and socket from the elements. RCD adaptors offer added protection.
One of the most serious of all hazards when using electricity outdoors is accidental damage of power cables. To protect against possible electrocution always use a supplementary RCD, which works by detecting abnormal current flows and immediately switches off the power supply.
Another product within the JoJo safety range is the Flexlight - an ideal source of portable supplementary light around the home. It is ideal for use when decorating, working under floorboards, in the garage or in the loft and provides a safe, cool light when working.
